John Cena

Okay, so know I wish to see John Cena vs. The Undertaker at 34. And despite Cena saying it was hopeless I think it will occur. Update: Check out results from WWE Fastlane here! – This ain’t about that all however. This is about what John Cena’s doing. The current story arc he is on. The angle which has him actively attempting to find a Path to WrestleMania. First of all, the idea brazenly begs us to attempt to think, for another, since he isn’t currently feuding with someone, which John Cena would be somehow left by WWE off WrestleMania.

The story that is kayfabe here’s if the dance card fills up, that, somehow, even when you’re the greatest name in the business you’ll get shut out of Mania. Which it hasn’t. So much so that we do not have a lot of a verified Mania card whatsoever right now. But that is not to say they would not be doing anything. And that is where John Cena begins to look kind of janky. See, Cena isn’t looking for a way he’s currently looking for a way. He’s not requesting a place on the display, he’s currently trying to acquire a main event.

This doesn’t really seem like him. Not his persona, anyhow. Cena hasn’t been since WrestleMania 29 in a WrestleMania main event, and he’s Wrestling photomentioned in over a few promos. Against Bray Wyatt, Rusev, and The Miz. He could not physically compete at 32, but he got a big moment. All Cena had to do, if he wanted a game at Mania 34, was go to the ring, grab just a mic, and say Who would like to fight me at WrestleMania? Or just go up to a dude at the back and be like Hey, wish to fight me at WrestleMania? K, byyyeeeeee.

It’d have been that simple. The fact that he is kayfabe using his status as just a free agent to encroach on another person’s Main event match – especially AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura – makes him come away like an entitled pain in the butt. In addition, specifically attempting to participate in that match, the only match on whole card intended to appeal to hardcore fans of non WWE wrestling, is an added inches of insult. Entire arenas would not Boo at the mere mention of him turning which bout to a Triple Threat match. He’d just receive just a smattering of indifference. WWE is playing to our worst fears all about top men right now.
